1963 Full Brim Aluminum Hard Hat Cap McDonald T Standard Mine Safety Appliances

This is a McDonald T Hat-Standard Mine Safety Appliances Co. M-S-A aluminum full brim hard hat or cap. It has an adjustable head sizes 6 3/4 thru 7 5/8". This hat or cap complies with U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Forest Service Specification dated Jan. 7, 1959. It also says Patented in Canada 1948 and 1963. This has been worn but you can hardly tell. It has a few finger smudges here and there which should wash off. The inside adjustable band is all original and doesn't show hardly any wear. There is one small ding which you can see in the fourth photo, which isn't any big deal but needs to be mentioned. Other than that this is a rare find in this nice and clean condition. These are quite collectible now!
